กิจกรรมบรรยายพิเศษ “Study Laws Abroad: Why It Is Essential for Thai Law Students?”
เมื่อวันที่ 16 ธันวาคม 2567 คณะนิติศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ จัดกิจกรรมบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “Study Laws Abroad: Why It Is Essential for Thai Law Students?” โดยวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ อาจารย์ ดร.พรสกล ปาณิกบุตร คูรี , Teaching Fellow จาก School of Global and Public Law, UNSW Law & Justice (UNSW) ประเทศออสเตรเลีย โดยมีรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อุษณีย์ เอมศิรานันท์ รองคณบดีด้านวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เป็นผู้ดำเนินรายการในครั้งนี้
โดยกิจกรรมดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้และทักษะให้แก่นักศึกษานิติศาสตร์เกี่ยวกับความสำคัญของการศึกษากฎหมายในต่างประเทศ ซึ่งสามารถเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการทำงานในระดับสากลและเปิดโอกาสใหม่ๆ ในอาชีพนักกฎหมายที่หลากหลาย พร้อมทั้งให้มุมมองจากประสบการณ์ตรงของอาจารย์ ดร.พรสกล คูรี ผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์ด้านการศึกษากฎหมายในต่างประเทศ รวมทั้งการแนะนำเทคนิคการเขียนและการสอบสัมภาษณ์อย่างไรให้ได้ทุน Chevening และ ทุนAustralia – Asia Award
ในโอกาสนี้ ดร.พรกสุล คูรี และ Mr.Adrian Coorey ได้บริจาคหนังสือที่มีคุณค่าให้แก่คณะนิติศาสตร์ฯ เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์แก่นักศึกษาและบุคลากรคณะนิติศาสตร์ในการพัฒนาความรู้ด้านกฎหมาย และสนับสนุนการเรียนการสอนในคณะนิติศาสตร์ต่อไปในอนาคต
On December 16, 2024, The Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University, organized a special lecture on the topic “Study Laws Abroad: Why It Is Essential for Thai Law Students?” delivered by Dr. Pornsakol Panikabutra Coorey, Teaching Fellow at the School of Global and Public Law, UNSW Law & Justice (UNSW), Australia.The event was moderated by Associate Professor Dr.Usanee Aimsiranun, Associate Dean for International Relations of the Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University.
This event aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of law students regarding the importance of studying law abroad, which can improve their ability to work internationally and open up diverse career opportunities in the legal profession. Dr. Pornsakol Coorey shared valuable insights based on her own experiences studying law abroad, as well as provided guidance on writing applications and preparing for interviews for prestigious scholarships such as the Chevening Scholarship and the Australia-Asia Award.
Additionally, Dr. Pornsakol Coorey and Mr. Adrian Coorey generously donated a collection of valuable books to the Faculty of Law to support the development of legal knowledge and enhance teaching and learning resources for students and faculty alike.
