Faculty of Law, UKM Opens Registration for “JurisXplore 2.0” International Summer Programme 2026

The Faculty of Law at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has officially opened registrations for its highly anticipated international summer mobility programme, JurisXplore 2.0. Scheduled to take place this upcoming August 2026, the unique initiative invites undergraduate law students from global partner universities and international institutions to experience Malaysia’s legal landscape firsthand.

JurisXplore 2.0 is specifically curated to provide undergraduate students with comprehensive exposure to the Malaysian legal system, hands-on legal insights, and vibrant cross-cultural exchanges. Beyond the academic and professional networking sessions with local legal practitioners and faculty experts, participants will engage in structured educational and cultural tours across the country.

To accommodate varying academic schedules and preferences, the non-credit programme offers two distinct travel and study packages:

  • Package 1 (5-Day Programme): Running from August 2 – 7, 2026, this track explores the central hubs of Selangor, Putrajaya, and Kuala Lumpur. The participation fee is USD 800.
  • Package 2 (13-Day Programme): Running from August 2 – 15, 2026, this extended track covers Selangor, Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, and includes an immersive cultural and geographical excursion to Langkawi Island. The participation fee is USD 1,600.

What is Covered?

The comprehensive participation fee includes shared accommodation, daily breakfast and lunch, local ground transportation for all scheduled activities, official program materials, and entry fees for selected tourism and cultural events. Please note that international airfare, visa arrangements, mandatory travel insurance, and personal daily expenses must be covered independently by the participants.
