คณะนิติศาสตร์ มช. เข้าร่วม The World Jurists Forum 2026 และหารือความร่วมมือกับ CUPL ณ กรุงปักกิ่ง
เมื่อวันที่ 4–5 กรกฎาคม 2569 ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชัยณรงค์ เหลืองวิลัย คณบดีคณะนิติศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ในฐานะผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ “The World Jurists Forum 2026” ณ กรุงปักกิ่ง สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน
ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Exchanges and Mutual Learning Between Chinese and Foreign Rule of Law Civilizations” ซึ่งเป็นเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านกฎหมายและหลักนิติธรรมระหว่างนักวิชาการและผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากนานาประเทศ
ในโอกาสนี้ คณบดีได้ประชุมหารือกับผู้บริหาร China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) เพื่อติดตามความคืบหน้าภายหลังการลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่และ CUPL พร้อมหารือแนวทางขยายความร่วมมือด้านการเรียนการสอน การวิจัย และการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและบุคลากรในอนาคต
นอกจากนี้ คณบดีได้นำเสนอผลงานทางวิชาการในหัวข้อ “Thailand Youth’s Debt Crisis: Why Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) Matters Now” พร้อมทั้งศึกษาดูงานและรับฟังการบรรยายเกี่ยวกับภารกิจของหน่วยงานด้านการพิสูจน์หลักฐานที่จัดตั้งขึ้นภายใต้ความร่วมมือกับ CUPLซึ่งสนับสนุนการพิสูจน์ข้อเท็จจริงในคดีทั้งทางอาญาและทางแพ่ง
การเข้าร่วมประชุมครั้งนี้ยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือกับคณาจารย์ นักกฎหมาย และผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากนานาประเทศ เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและยกระดับบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ในเวทีนานาชาติ
On 4–5 July 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Chainarong Luengvilai, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University, represented Chiang Mai University at The World Jurists Forum 2026, held in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. The international conference, themed “Exchanges and Mutual Learning Between Chinese and Foreign Rule of Law Civilizations,” brought together legal scholars and practitioners from around the world to exchange perspectives on the development of the rule of law.
During the visit, the Dean met with the executive team of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) to discuss the progress of academic collaboration following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Chiang Mai University and CUPL. The meeting focused on expanding cooperation in education, research, and faculty and student exchanges.
In addition, Assistant Professor Dr. Chainarong presented his academic paper entitled “Thailand Youth’s Debt Crisis: Why Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) Matters Now,” highlighting the growing challenges of youth debt in Thailand and the legal implications of Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services.
The Dean also visited a forensic science center established through collaboration between CUPL and its partner organizations, where he attended a briefing on its role in supporting evidence examination and fact-finding in both criminal and civil proceedings.
The forum also provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen academic networks with legal scholars, practitioners, and experts from partner institutions worldwide, further enhancing Chiang Mai University’s international engagement in legal education and research.
