คณะนิติศาสตร์ มช. หารือสำนักหอสมุด ศึกษาแนวทางยกระดับระบบสืบค้นสู่มาตรฐานสากล

– เมื่อวันที่ 28 เมษายน 2569 คณะนิติศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ นำโดย ผศ.ดร.ชัยณรงค์ เหลืองวิลัย คณบดีคณะนิติศาสตร์ เข้าหารือร่วมกับ นายปราชญ์ สงวนศักดิ์ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักหอสมุด มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางความร่วมมือในการพัฒนาระบบสืบค้นทรัพยากรสารสนเทศของคณะ ให้สามารถเชื่อมโยงกับระบบกลางของมหาวิทยาลัยได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

ในการหารือครั้งนี้ ได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับระบบสืบค้นระดับสากล Primo Search ซึ่งเป็นระบบที่สำนักหอสมุดใช้งานอยู่ในปัจจุบัน โดยมุ่งเน้นการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการเข้าถึงข้อมูล การสืบค้นที่สะดวกและรวดเร็ว รวมถึงแนวทางการบูรณาการฐานข้อมูลในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย

นอกจากนี้ คณะผู้แทนยังได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมพื้นที่ให้บริการของสำนักหอสมุด โดยเฉพาะโซนห้องอ่านหนังสือ ซึ่งมีการออกแบบพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ (Learning Space) ที่หลากหลาย รองรับทั้งการอ่านหนังสือแบบส่วนตัว และการทำงานร่วมกันเป็นกลุ่ม สะท้อนแนวคิดการจัดสภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ในยุคดิจิทัล

การหารือในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นสำคัญในการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ของการพัฒนาระบบสืบค้นและพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ของคณะนิติศาสตร์ เพื่อรองรับการเรียนการสอนและการวิจัยในอนาคต

Faculty of Law, CMU Explores Collaboration with University Library to Advance Information Discovery Systems to International Standards

The Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chainarong Luengvilai, Dean of the Faculty of Law, held a discussion with Pratch Sanguansak, Director, Chiang Mai University Library, to explore potential collaboration in enhancing the Faculty’s information discovery system and improving its integration with the University’s central library system.

During the meeting, both parties exchanged ideas on the implementation of an international-standard discovery platform, Primo Search, which is currently used by the University Library. The discussion focused on improving accessibility to information resources, enabling faster and more efficient search capabilities, and exploring approaches for integrating databases at the university level.

In addition, the Faculty’s representatives visited various service areas within the University Library, particularly the reading zones, which feature diverse learning space designs. These spaces support both individual study and collaborative work, reflecting a modern learning environment that promotes concentration, privacy, and knowledge sharing.

This discussion marks an important initial step in exploring the feasibility of developing the Faculty’s information discovery system and learning spaces, aiming to better support teaching, learning, and research in the future.
