คณะนิติศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ขอแสดงความยินดีกับ อาจารย์ นภัทรธมณฑ์ ไก่แก้ว ในโอกาสได้รับเชิญเข้าร่วมนำเสนอผลงานทางวิชาการในระดับนานาชาติ เมื่อวันที่ 15 เมษายน 2569 ณ Lisbon Accounting and Business School (ISCAL) กรุงลิสบอน สาธารณรัฐโปรตุเกส
เจาะลึกประเด็นภาษีมูลค่าเพิ่ม (VAT) กับสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล
ในการประชุมวิชาการภายใต้ธีม “Shaping knowledge in higher education” อาจารย์ นภัทรธมณฑ์ ได้นำเสนอบทความวิจัยในหัวข้อ:
“Thailand’s Mistreatment of Cryptocurrency under Value Added Tax”
เนื้อหาสำคัญของการนำเสนอได้ชี้ให้เห็นถึงความท้าทายและข้อบกพร่องของนโยบายการจัดเก็บภาษีมูลค่าเพิ่ม (VAT) ต่อคริปโตเคอร์เรนซีในประเทศไทย โดยผู้วิจัยได้วิเคราะห์ถึงความไม่เหมาะสมในบางมิติของหลักกฎหมายปัจจุบัน พร้อมทั้งแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเชิงเปรียบเทียบกับมาตรฐานสากล เพื่อเสนอแนะแนวทางที่สอดคล้องกับบริบทของเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลในยุคปัจจุบัน
ยกระดับวิชาการนิติศาสตร์สู่สากล
การเข้าร่วมนำเสนอผลงานในครั้งนี้ ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นการเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้ที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อวงการกฎหมายภาษีอากรระดับโลก แต่ยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ร่วมกับนักวิชาการและผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากนานาประเทศ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับพันธกิจหลักของคณะนิติศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ที่มุ่งเน้นและผลักดันให้คณาจารย์สร้างสรรค์ผลงานวิชาการที่มีคุณภาพและเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากลอย่างต่อเนื่อง
คณะนิติศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เชื่อมั่นว่าการขับเคลื่อนทางวิชาการในลักษณะนี้ จะเป็นรากฐานสำคัญในการพัฒนาตัวบทกฎหมายและนโยบายสาธารณะของประเทศให้ก้าวทันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของเทคโนโลยีในอนาคต

Critiquing Thailand’s VAT Policy on Digital Assets
Participating under the conference theme “Shaping Knowledge in Higher Education,” Lecturer Naphatthamon presented her research paper titled:
“Thailand’s Mistreatment of Cryptocurrency under Value Added Tax”
The presentation provided a critical analysis of the current legal framework regarding the imposition of Value Added Tax (VAT) on cryptocurrency transactions in Thailand. She highlighted the inconsistencies and practical challenges of the existing tax policies, advocating for a more balanced regulatory approach that aligns with the evolving nature of the digital economy and international best practices.

This presentation served as a vital platform for disseminating Thai legal scholarship and exchanging academic insights with global experts.
