CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE-WAIVER SCHOLARSHIP

 

“The 3rd Law CMU International Conference Registration Fee-Waiver Scholarship”

The Law CMU conference committee (‘the committee’) intends to provide a conference registration fee waiver scholarship for partners and post-graduate students who are facing financial difficulties. For those who wish to present their academic paper in the international conference, the committee provide the eligible applicant with the scholarship of the conference registration fee. In this regard, the committee will grant three scholarships to the selected candidates who will be waived of registration fee, but other expenses will not be covered. Kindly consider applying for the scholarship if you meet the criteria below.

 

Scholarship Details:

The scholarships will be granted to people who are full of ambition and can demonstrate their potential through their academic paper for attending the conference.  Each candidate will receive a registration fee waiving for the conference. Please note that all other costs will not be covered in this scholarship.

 

Remarks: Please note that Law CMU has no authority in assisting with the visa application processing, but we will provide the related document such as Letter of Acceptance (LOA), Conference Agenda and other relevant documents of conference to all participants.

 

Eligibility requirements:

  1. Applicants must be postgraduate students or staff of our partners* who are facing financial difficulties.; or
  2. Applicants must be working in relation to the issues of the conferences’ subject areas who are facing financial difficulties.

 

Note: *Our partners refer to any persons or institutions or organizations that used to contribute to, or work in cooperation with, Law CMU.

 

Selection Criteria:

  1. Financial Needs (Explain in a separate letter)
  2. Abstract quality

 

Application procedure and deadline 

To be considered for a Fee Waiver, the applicant must submit a personal statement of a maximum of 500 words describing the financial difficulties and the important reason(s) or expected benefit(s) that require the committee to grant the scholarship. This personal statement must be submitted together with the abstract and a short biography of the applicant for the conference by 31 May 2024.
