Throughout the exchange program, the IIUM students were supported and accompanied by five LAWCMU Buddies, who helped facilitate their activities and experiences at the Faculty. The students also participated in academic sessions led by LAWCMU faculty members, environmental law activities organized by the Environmental Law Clinic (ELC), as well as activities focusing on the history and culture of Chiang Mai.
The cultural program was kindly supported by the Lanna Architecture Center at Khum Chao Burirat (Maha-In), where the students had the opportunity to learn about and gain insights into Lanna architecture and its historical significance.
The exchange was therefore not only an opportunity for academic learning, but also a meaningful platform for friendship, intercultural understanding, and memorable experiences shared between Thai and Malaysian students.
Looking ahead, the Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University is scheduled to send Thai students to IIUM, Malaysia, in November 2026, continuing the academic partnership and friendship between the two institutions. Applications for the next exchange program will open soon. Please stay tuned for announcements from the International Relations Office, Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University.
