Prof. Dr. Darunee Paisanpanichkul<\/strong>, Head of the Law Research and Development Center, Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University, was invited to deliver a special guest lecture at the <strong>Lisbon Accounting and Business School (ISCAL)<\/strong>, Portugal, attended by students and academics from various universities across the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Her lecture, titled <strong>&#8220;The Movement of the \u2018Business and Human Rights\u2019 Principle in Thailand,&#8221;<\/strong> critically examined the trajectory of Human Rights principles within the Thai business sector. She challenged the audience with a poignant question: <em>Whether the observed progress in Thailand\u2019s commitment to human rights by both public and private sectors represents genuine structural advancement or merely a symbolic gesture to align with international pressure.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Furthermore, Asst. Prof. Dr. Darunee engaged in high-level discussions regarding academic collaboration between the two institutions.
