President of Chiang Mai University<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">On April 22, 2026, the executive team, faculty members, and staff of the Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University, led by <strong>Asst. Prof. Dr. Chainarong Luengvilai, Dean of the Faculty of Law<\/strong>, participated in the &#8220;Sra-Klao Dam-Hua&#8221; ceremony (Songkran Festival) to pay respects to the President of Chiang Mai University for the year 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The purpose of this ceremony was to express gratitude and &#8220;Suma Karawa&#8221; (respectful apologies and seeking blessings) for prosperity in their professional duties. Furthermore, the event aimed to preserve and promote the rich Lanna arts, culture, and traditions. During the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Law represented the faculty in presenting traditional Lanna offerings, including flower trays and incense, to <strong>Prof. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, M.D., Ph.D., President of Chiang Mai University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">On this auspicious occasion, the President offered his blessings and words of encouragement to the faculty&#8217;s executives and staff, motivating them in their academic pursuits and legal services to society. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, reflecting the strong bond and unity among the various departments within Chiang Mai University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The preservation of the &#8220;Dam-Hua&#8221; tradition is not only a gesture of gratitude towards elders but also a symbol of starting the New Year with a refreshed spirit, ready to advance the Faculty of Law.
