Excellence at the Faculty of Law, CMU<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University, cordially commends and encourages all personnel who have collaborated to develop and propose innovative approaches for workflow improvement through the \u201cFact to Action Pitching\u201d project, initiated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Chainarong Luengvilai, Dean of the Faculty of Law. This project aims to foster innovation and teamwork that will drive sustainable organizational development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The team is led by<br>Ms. Waralak Naksen<br>and consists of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Mr. Thinkrit Nutwong<br>Ms. Siriyaporn Wongjak<br>Ms. Wannathida Sukoram<br>Ms. Areeya Waisanthea<br>The team\u2019s initial objective was to compile scattered regulations and legal frameworks related to various work procedures\u2014such as project approval requirements, lecturer compensation guidelines, or overtime (OT) authorizations\u2014into a centralized information hub for the benefit of their colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">However, the committee provided valuable feedback that simply gathering rules, regulations, and legal provisions would amount to just data or information management, which would not yield the full practical benefits envisioned by the team. The team was thus challenged to take their project further: to extract and codify relevant \u201cknowledge\u201d from real-life experiences and best practices, filling the actual gaps faced in day-to-day operations, such as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">When is it appropriate to request overtime authorization?<br>What criteria should be considered when determining the number of hours or the personnel involved in overtime work?<br>What steps should be taken to prevent future complications?<br>These are practical bottlenecks that commonly arise\u2014not mere matters of compensation already clearly stipulated by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Based on this guidance, the team is now determined to elevate the \u201cDocuLink\u201d project beyond an ordinary data repository to become a true Knowledge Management System. This system will distill insights from experience and best practices, ensuring staff have access to genuine, actionable answers to work-related challenges. This embodies the Growth Mindset principle and an organizational culture that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The Faculty proudly recognizes, appreciates, and encourages the team to achieve success with this project, serving as a model of creative thinking and knowledge-sharing that will help propel the Faculty of Law, CMU,
