On January 28, 2025, the Faculty of Law, CMU had the honor of welcoming Professor Craig R. Bennett, Adjunct Professor, and Professor Brian Serr, Louise L. Morrison Chair of Constitutional Law, from Baylor University, United States. They delivered a special lecture on \u201cThe Study of the Relationship Between the Legal System and Legal Education in the U.S., and an Analysis of the U.S. Governance Structure in the Context of Political Changes and the Role of State Agencies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This lecture focused on providing insights into the structure of the U.S. legal system and legal education, as well as approaches to analyzing the U.S. governance framework in the context of contemporary political changes. It also covered the role of state agencies in shaping national policies and directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two professors presented comparative perspectives that proved highly beneficial for international legal studies and encouraged active discussions and exchanges of ideas among attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture attracted significant interest from faculty members, students, and legal professionals. It served as an important opportunity to broaden perspectives on the U.S. legal and governance system and explore ways to apply these insights to the Thai legal context. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
