On 3\u20134 February 2026, the Faculty of Law, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), organized the 7th National Mediation Competition (Northern Regional Round). The event aimed to enhance students\u2019 expertise in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and to select representatives from Northern Thailand to compete at the national level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition focused on strengthening students\u2019 knowledge and practical skills in mediation and commercial negotiation, which play an increasingly important role in the modern justice system. Students from various higher education institutions across Northern Thailand participated, applying legal theory to real-world practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strong participation reflected growing academic interest in commercial dispute resolution in the region. The winning team from this round will advance to the national competition, scheduled for March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
