The Nature of the Program

The nature of the Legal Certificate Program & LL.M. Program in International and Transnational Law:

It is the LL.M. Program – LL.M. in US International and Transnational Law – with 2 options: a 4 Course Option and a 2 Course Option.

The 4 Course Option is for the student who would like to spend one semester at CMU to earn 10 credits of advanced standing, and spend one semester at CK for the remaining 14 credits to obtain the LL.M. degree.

The 2 Course Option is for the student who would like to spend 2 months at CMU to take 2 compulsory/preparatory courses, and spend full academic year (2 semesters) at CK for 24 credits to obtain the LL.M. degree. The 2 compulsory/preparatory courses are non-credit.

Both options at CMU are solely taught by CK Professors. After completion the program in either option, the student will be awarded LL.M. Degree by CK.

Chicago-Kent College of Law shall provide the LL.M. Degree and this degree carries full academic recognition and is equivalent to those that are available to all LL.M. students at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
